Where is God?

This is an age-old question, where is God? The answer to this is also age-old, and easy. God is within man… but let me explain this a bit more to you. I received this wonderful spiritual grace. As a child of the light I must walk in the light and I must bring this light to the world. The light is the intelligibility of the gospel of God, a new Spiritual way of thinking, and doing.

In Romans 15:15 is written “Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,”. And it is written in Isaiah 2:5 “O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD” Then in Saint Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,…”

We can see from these scriptures that we received an assignment, and we are told to walk in the light. The light is the Spiritual understanding of the Gospel of Christ.

All my teachings and ideas are taken from the Holy Bible King James version. If you don’t yet have a Bible, then it is time to get one. This is a book written by man but inspired by God, this book is to be read every day for the rest of your life.

To get back to my point of where God is. Let’s start at the beginning, Genesis 1. He created the Heaven and the Earth, this is the spiritual heaven and earth within me, when we start to think and wonder about God and Spirituality. There was darkness upon the face of the deep, this is total confusion. Ever experienced something you completely do not understand, then you say it’s dark, right. And then when you understand, then you say, oh now I see. It is not that you saw with your eyes, your understanding changed therefor you see with your spiritual eye. The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, now if I am not mistaken and cup of water is water, and a dam of water is still water…. so why does the Bible say waters, as in plural? This is because, throughout the Bible, when mention of water is made, it is talking about the evangelic word of God. The word of God is water. Now, you are confused about a new idea, you get information from different sources, all saying kind of the same thing, but not. All this information from different sources, different ideas they are all confusing, so the truth of God is not revealed yet, therefor He has not found a place to rest yet within you, therefor he is moving upon the face of the waters, plural for all the different beliefs and ideas. Revelation 22:1 He talks about a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God. This means water, words of wisdom, coming from the mouth of man. Man who is the Kingdom of God, and his throne will be in His Kingdom, right?

Then He said, let there be light, and lo and behold, there was light, but the sun and moon and stars have not been made yet. Where does this light come from? Did the above paragraph, or anything I’ve written so far, make any sense to you at all? If yes, then there is the light. The understanding that become clear, that which makes sense, that is the light, your understanding changed. Just a little is enough to make a big difference in a very dark place. Just take a look at how big one match light is when it’s completely dark.

To get back to where God is, let’s have a look at Saint Luke 17:1 where the Pharisees wanted to know about the Kingdom of God and when it will come. He said the Kingdom will not come with visible signs, no observation. He tells us not to look here or there, but to look within because the Kingdom of God is within us. You have a house, you live in your house, right? It would be foolish if you have a house, but you live in a shack somewhere. The same with God, you would expect Him to live in His house right, well, His house is His Kingdom, which is within us. Therefor it is safe to say that God is then within us.

In Saint Luke 8 from verse 4 Jesus told the parable of the sower. In verse 11 He explains that the seed is the word of God, and how it is sown in the ground in the mind of man. The parables in which Jesus spoke shows us how the entire Bible was meant to be interpreted, in a Spiritual way. The seeds, the word of God, that was sown on good ground, this sprang up and bear fruit. The word came to you, you accepted and you grow and build upon this word, you get stronger and you prosper, thus bearing fruit. The good deeds you do are the fruit you bear. This is if you accept this to be true of course. Otherwise this seed just fell some other place and died.

Revelation 21 He speaks of a new heaven and a new earth, this is the Spiritual Heaven and Earth created within you with your new way of understanding the Gospel of Christ. Then in verse 3 He says that the tabernacle of God is with men, and that God himself will dwell and be with men. We believe every word of God to be honest and true, God is truth and light and love and all that, so if we believe every word, then we must surely also believe when he says he will be and stay with us, then he is surely with us, within us. He speaks through me and you.

One last idea I’d like to run past you today, and that is written in Revelation 22: 13. God says I am the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. The world is in caos, so many fears and uncertainty going on. God urges us to get back to Him, to make him King in our lives, in our families once more. Come back to the basics, for He is the creator of everything, including each of us. Now is the time to get up and to study, learn and grow. We have to be strong. let us praise Him for every little thing we have that makes our lives worth living. We are blessed more than we realize.

Questions…? Please be so kind as to leave your questions in the comments section below, I will be ecstatic to explain something someone does not understand regarding the Holy Scriptures. Any question, even if not related to this post, but in connection with the Bible and Spirituality. Please indulge me, and I’d love to hear from you.

One last thought I’d like to run by you, in John 4:23 & 24 Jesus speaks about the hour of salvation, and that the true worshipers shall worship Bod in Spirit and truth, for God is Spirit and they that worship Him must do this in Spirit and truth. it is all Spiritual, God and the Bible and everything written in it is purely spiritual.

I believe you found this post helpful. If so, please feel free to share it with the important people in your life, (and the less important ones too;-) they may all find value in these written words.

Always remember every day holds the possibility and the promise of a miracle.

Miracles, is that which seems impossible but happens anyway…

Wow! what an interesting article we have here, where is God? This question has been debated for years by scientist time over times.Lets take a look at the bible, the say’s that  on the sixth day God said let us make man in our own image, this means we are in the image of God.Let me digress a little, stand in front a mirror whats the object that you see;you’ll see am image,so definitely we were beautifully and wonderfully made in the image of God.Now i have a new understanding. thanks for sharing this.

Thank you Wilson for taking the time to read my post and to leave your comment.  May you be blessed.  We are indeed created in the image of God, both physically and Spiritually.  God is spirit, therefore what really matters, that which is most important is the spiritual side of things, and our own spiritual self, which is the same as God, but also a part of God and also divinely connected to everything.  All is one, and one is all.

May you be blessed with health, happiness and success.

Heloo there, I must say a big thanks to you for sharing this insightful and educating article on the big question. Where is God? That’s a question that sometimes may seem very confusing to always answer without broad understanding. I really love your approach in answering this big question, your examples are cool. Thanks i have really been impacted and now I have a more different idea on where God is. Thanks

Thank you so much Sheddy for taking the time to read my post and for leaving your very valuable comment.  Thank you.  I am glad that I gave you a better understanding and that you like my examples. I have a few more examples, maybe I’ll write another post on this topic, as it is a topic that needs to be understood completely before you can understand the whole concept of Spirituality.  Thank you for planting the seed of this great idea into my mind.

May you be blessed with health, love and success in all you do.

Hello there! This is an amazing article you’ve got here. I asked this question some time in school and my teacher scolded me for doing so cause she misunderstood me, until I grew up to understand that the answers I needed was in the Bible. Then I explored till I got the answers.

    Tis article is Lovely!

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post and to leave your very valuable comment.  Greatly appreciated.

The sad thing about the world is that people do not think, ask questions and explore, especially when it comes to God, the Bible and Spirituality.  Most of us grew up with the idea that it is a sin to ask questions.  A friend of mine had a similar experience where he disagreed with the Teacher on a certain topic concerning faith, and he was also scolded and made to stand in a corner.

Luckily times are changing, and nowadays it is changing really fast, we are allowed to question and talk more freely about religion and what we believe to be true.

I am one of the fortunate to be able to study, ask questions and get real truthful answers that makes sense.  The truth is out, and I am here to help spread the true Gospel.

May you be blessed with health, happiness, love and success.

Asking such a question is much as asking where is the breath one breath’s. In the Bible, we where all aware that God made us in his own image and likeness, so as a child of God, asking where you creator is showcase you aren’t in his word, if you are In the word of God you would knwo that God is always and will remain in you cos he made you in his own image

Thank you so much for leaving your comment, and for taking the time to read my post.

I read your comment and I kind of feel reprimanded for asking this question, where is God?  During my lifetime so far I have found that people do not know God.  People do not know where to find God.  Most of the world still believe God to be somewhere far far away in the blue sky somewhere behind the clouds among the stars, which is a great misunderstanding.  You are correct with you statement “where is the breath one breaths”, it makes sense to you and me, but there are the countless many out there in the world that are still in darkness and it is our duty to bring them the light, the true Spiritual understanding.  Humanity is craving the truth.

In Timothy 2:2 we are reminded of our duty to preach the World, to be instant in season and out of season, to reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

May you be blessed with great Spiritual light and understanding, health and love.

    Wow! An amazing write up!

Truly God is within us! I have know this answer right from time because God said in his word in the book of John 14-16 that He will send the Holy Spirit to us and He will abide with is forever! That means God living inside of us. I love the analysis you have and how you prove that God is within us.

I love your article, looking to greater post from you.

    • Marlene W

Thank you Lizzy for taking the time to read my post and to give me your valuable comment.

Yes God truly is within us.  And all His power and love as well.  We must live it and carry it out to all those around us.  We are His hands, doing His work and spreading his word and his love all over the world.

May you be blessed with love, health and happiness.

  6. Joshua

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and wisdom about the scriptures. Personally, I was raised in a household where religion wasn’t very important and It rubbed off on me. To this day, I don’t worship and it would have been better if my parents taught me more about the Bible. For whatever reason, they decided not to, but I forgive them and believe whatever is meant to be will happen.

    • Marlene W

Hi Joshua.  Thank you for reading my post and for leaving your comment.  Greatly appreciate.  You know, it does not matter how you grew up, every one of us has his or her own choices to make when we grow up and leave home.  The choice is your now, how will you continue to live?  The same as your parents did?  Or will you make the choice to learn and grow with your great Creator?

May you be blessed with insight and may you make the right choice today, and keep at it.

Thanks for sharing an article on God’s word,You are blessed .In my opinion apart from God residing in heaven, there is a Godly nature in all believer’s,yes, does that have accepted Jesus and its finished work on the cross of Calvary, you being born again you must possess and express that Christ like nature in you any place you find your self.

thanks,do hope it helps someone.best regards.

    • Marlene W

Thank you for the blessings, may you be blessed too.  If you read my post carefully, you will see that it’s not Christ like nature in us or a Godly nature, it is God that is within us.  Not something like Him, it is Him.  I also explain that Heaven is where God is, and that Heaven is within us.

I suggest you read the post again, carefully, then you study the texts that I give that explains it to you perfectly.

  8. Cynthia

Thank you very much for such a wonderful post. I just gave my life to God 2 years ago, and I am now a Christian. My husband, who was raised as a Christian, helps me a lot with understanding my bible readings. We read each night before bed and discuss.

I am still in the old testament, so I have a lot to learn. But life has made so much more sense since I have accepted God into my life. I still struggle each day, worrying about tomorrow, when I should just TRUST him completely. But I am working on it day by day.

    Thank you again:)

    • Marlene W

I am curious, what do your husband think about my idea on this subject?   Do you guys agree with me?

Thank you Cynthia for taking the time to read my post and to leave your valuable comment.  You are truly blessed for the good you do and spread.

I have been practicing my way of understanding the Spiritual side of God and the Bible for 40 years, and still I do not understand everything and also I have not read the whole Bible.  If you do, you are way ahead of me, so I encourage you to keep going and keep me posted on your progress.

You cannot go wrong with reading from the Bible every day, it makes you a better person, your world is enriched and you are blessed beyond measure.

There is a saying that a family that reads the Bible together, stays together!  In all my years on this planet, I have found this to be very true, so you keep this up and you two as well as your marriage will be blessed with all the good stuff.

Always remember that to worry is not from God, therefore if it is not then where does it come from?  It is something from somewhere that you really do not want in your life.  Complete trust is something you practice every day.  Just a thought…

May you both be blessed with love, health and a lot of spiritual growth and understanding.
