Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff and It’s All Small Stuff by Richard Carlson

There are all these little things that make up our everyday lives.  Small things like a friendly greeting, a smile, a forgiving gesture, listening …  you know, the small stuff.  The little things that tend to take over your life, consciously and subconsciously.  Most are habits which we have adapted over time.  Time to break the cycle.

This very special book teaches ways to make your actions more peaceful and caring, with the added benefit of making your life more calm and stress-free.  I love calm and stress free.

This little book with its 100 chapters is a real life changer, and a treat to read.  Each chapter is short, no more than about two pages.  Even if you learn one thing only from this book, it’s worth the read. But, I can guarantee that you will learn more than one thing from this little book.

It is a must read especially for anyone raising a child or children.  It is valuable life lessons that will make your child’s life so much smoother and easier if they implement these lessons in their everyday lives from a young age.  The future generation will be stronger and better than ever before.

I recommend this book to everyone!  Within its pages there are a lot of real pearls of wisdom.  Most of the tips you will put to use right away, some will take a little bit of time and practice.  Anyone who deals with people on a daily basis can use the skills in this book to improve themselves and their daily living.

It’s an easy enjoyable read, both down to earth and knowledgeable.  Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff and It’s All Small Stuff by Richard Carlson is aimed at helping you, with a conversational but concise writing style.  A lot of good information is included, with personal examples of how the strategies were used by the author.  There is something invigorating in knowing someone else struggle the same way as you do.

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff and It’s All Small Stuff by Richard Carlson is a pure rewarding reading experience.  It gives you the ability to look at things from a healthier point of view.

It puts so many things into perspective.  We tend to blow stuff out of proportion by making really big deals out of nothing, which we shouldn’t do.  It’s wasted energy that can be used in a large array of other productive positive ways.  To have more energy, to be content and to really enjoy your life.  This book must be kept close by and reviewed on a regular basis to keep your life running smooth, stress free and prosperous.

Carry this book around with you as you walk through life.  Whatever your belief is, or your background, it always helps to put things into perspective from time to time.  It’s not a book you can read and mark it as done and move on, no, this book is a good reference to turn to when you start going stark raving crazy mad with life.  The message is simple, the small stuff isn’t worth all the energy, time and drama it causes.

This valuable book truly inspires pushing you to increase your progress in attaining your life free from stress.  A big piece of heaven on earth.

    • Tanya, thank you so much for stopping by and reading my page. I agree with you, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff and I’ts All Small Stuff is a life changing piece of literature. I like the way you say it. It is also timeless, will be effective and useful and life changing even 10 or 20 years from now.

Oh my, this is an excellent book, I read it ages ago. I had actually forgotten about it until I happened upon this page. It really is all small stuff, just need to keep it in perspective. I saw a picture of a big circle, in side the circle was another circle about a third of the size of the first circle and inside that circle was another on about 1/100 of the size of the second circle.

The first and biggest circle was things we worry about, the second circle was things that could happen and the smallest was things that actually do happen. The point is, we worry and obsess so much over things that will never happen. It is all small stuff. LET IT GO.

Hello there! Thanks for the review again. That book seems very interesting and I heard about it before. As it’s nearly Christmas, it would make a great gift for one of my friend who’s actually passionate about self-development and positive psychology. Well… Even for me, I suppose, as I had a lot of stress recently. It’s got some good reviews on Amazon too and seems to be affordable. Keep up the well written reviews, it’s really a pleasure to read you.

Thank you for your comment Clement.  The book consists of 100 chapters, with each chapter being no more than one and a half page.  But on average they are a page at length.  Also the book is written in such a way it reads easy.

This is truly an incredible book, and I guarantee you will not have any problems reading this one over and over again.

This book is absolutely incredible! I’ve read it more times than I can count. I even keep it in my car, so when I have a bad day at work I go out for a break and I open it randomly on a page and each time its wisdom is related to the situation and it helps me finish my day on a better way
